Bill, Jen, Ian and I, and the rest of the River House family, thank you for your friendship and support and wish you the happiest of holidays! As the 2013 season comes to a close, we just want to send a friendly reminder of our upcoming events and ongoing specials.

We will be here and hope you can join us for some of the festivities:

Christmas Eve Dinner – a true Reveillon, December 24th, 6 pm. Although Chef Bill has yet to decide on a menu, it will be chef’s choice and certainly delicious, $45, 4-courses.

We will be closed on Christmas Day.

New Year’s Eve, December 31st starting with cocktails and canapés at 7:30 pm followed by a decadent, 7-course dinner at 8 pm. Entertainment surprises and of course, if you can stay up late without turning into a pumpkin, we will ring in the New Year with a champagne toast! $100, 7-courses, & here is the menu:

“Clean-out-the-Pantry Party” on January 1at 6 pm. Dinner is $45 and who knows what delights we will find coming out of the pantry this year! Chef Bill is also offering a special opportunity to anyone who is interested in the first of his cooking courses for this dinner. The fee is $75 and it includes the culminating dinner. The training starts at 10 am and ends with dinner. This class is limited to 5 people so please let us know if you would like to participate.

Bill will be starting comprehensive cooking classes this winter so if you would like more information, please contact us at 336-982-2109 or send an email to jeng@skybest.com.

For your last minute shopping, consider a River House Gift Certificate. One size fits all – and in line with our River House Dollars program, there is a 20% bonus until December 31st.

We do hope you will join us for one or all of our year-end events. Please call to make reservations at 336-982-2109. If we don’t see you now, we will see you soon!

All best wishes,

Gayle
