Guitarist Wayne Henderson and Violinist Helen White will open the 12th Annual River House Winefest on Saturday, July 19th.
Twelve North Carolina Wineries will offer tastings, as well as bottles and cases. They are Biltmore Estate, Brushy Mountain, Elkin Creek, Fair Game, Flint Hill, Grassy Creek, Hanover Park, Jones-vonDrehle, McRitchie, Rag Apple Lassie, and RayLen.

Following Wayne and Helen, the Clay Lunsford Jazz Quartet will take the stage, and The Ardmores from Winston-Salem will rock until 5:00.
Various non-profit Ashe County organizations will share information about their activities, including the Chamber of Commerce, the Humane Society and Imagination Library.
Take home tasting glasses are provided and lunch is served. $50 per person plus tax. $25 for children and designated drivers. No pets, please – not even those who can hold their licquor!
